Net-a-porter has done it again. They have taken the much buzzed-about activewear space and did what they do best—made it accessible to the masses with a specific, curated, and highly tasteful point of view.
They have also created a wider net of potential customers as well as brands. They can cross-sell editorial concepts between sporting gear and fashion, further entwining their stance on lifestyle authority.
My favorite part? THEY HAVE AN EQUESTRIAN SECTION!!! Us riders are oft neglected as sportsmen but I'm happy to see they've included the category. @NETAPORTER, may I suggest some personal favorite riding brands:
Pikeur - easily the most well-crafted, comfortable, quality yet decently priced riding clothing (especially breeches and jodpurs) that are on the market. Personal favorite.
Tredstep - fantastic riding boots, half chaps, and paddock boots without the priciness of custom made boots. Much better fitting that Ariats, with a lovelier profile.
For the well-funded equestrienne, your riding wardrobe is not complete without a pair of Vogel custom made tall boots. These are the stuff of barn brat childhood dreams. Editorial-wise, how easily these goes from stable to town, right?!
I officially have riding on the mind.
